The following are required to obtain a Business Visa for Korea (South)
Attention U.S. Passport Holders
Entry Requirements:No Visa is required for visits to Korea, Republic of (South) for up to 90 days or less if the purpose of the trip is for tourism, short term business, attendance at a conference or visiting families or relatives. (Extension of stay is not permitted). Must hold proof of return and sufficient funds for intended duration of stay. Passport is required. If your passport is about to expire or needs more pages please contact us and we will help to obtain new, renew or add pages to your passport.

- Complete and return this form with all required information.

PASSPORT
- Original signed passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay.
- Your passport must have at least 1 clear blank visa pages available for the visa stamp(s).
- EDS can obtain passport services for you on your behalf if needed. Please see our PASSPORT section.
APPLICATION FORM
- Two (2) Visa application forms completed and signed. All questions on the application form must be answered. Failure to complete all required fields on the form will delay the processing of your visa.
PHOTOGRAPHS
- One recent 2" X 2" passport type photograph, in color, front view, and with a plain light background.
*The Embassy of South Korea requires all passport photos to be in color.*
LETTER OF CONFIRMATION or INVITATION

- A letter from your company (or from yourself if traveling individually) with information on the traveler, destination, and terms and purpose of the trip.
OTHER DOCUMENTS
- Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from Korea, and flight information.
The itinerary is required because the Embassy of Korea wants to know the dates you plan to arrive and depart from the country.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Visas cannot be changed or extended. If your travel plans change after the visa is issued you will need to re-apply for a new one.
- Also note: Any visa applicant may be interviewed by a consular officer if necessary.
- For all non-US citizens: You must include your original green card. Photocopies are not acceptable.
- The company address and phone number in Korea are required.
PAYMENT
The consulate only accepts United States Postal Money Orders for the cost of the visas. If you prefer, EDS can obtain the money order for the consulate. EDS accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, and American Express. Money orders and cash are also accepted.

When you have completed the visa application form, the EDS Service Request form, and this pre-shipping checklist, you may send all of your documents to the address below. We recommend using FedEx, UPS, DHL, or the USPS Express Mail for next-day delivery.
