Requirements for obtaining a Business Visa for Brazil

Brazil Expedited Visa Service

Country: Brazil

Visa Type: Business

The following are required to obtain a Business Visa for Brazil

Beginning June 17, 2019, citizens of the United States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan will be able to travel to Brazil without a visa. The measure benefits holders of a valid passport traveling for tourism, business, artistic or sports activities. The initiative also covers travelers transiting through Brazil. Visitors will be granted a stay of up to 90 days, which can be extended once for the same period, as long as they do not exceed 180 days within a 12-month period, counted from the date of the first entry.

Citizens of the United States of America, Australia, Canada and Japan, please, keep in mind that while a visa is not required, you must:

    1) Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your date of country exit and with TWO blank visa pages

    2) Hold proof of onward and return flights

    3) Hold all documents required for the next destination

    4) Hold proof of sufficient funds relative to your intended length of stay

    5) Confirm if transit visa is required for any connections. Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Brazil. It may be the case that countries you pass through in route to your destination may require a separate transit visa.

Non-US citizens please note:  Brazil visa is required for Citizens of 134 countries. It is not possible for us to maintain current visa requirements for all nationalities to all countries. For this reason if you are not a U.S. citizen, reside in the US, and wish to travel to Brazil, please call or email us.  Our specialist will be happy to research your visa requirement if you are legally residing in the U.S. with a permanent Resident Card or long term U.S. visa.
